MicroUmbrella will be available for signup only through our Mobile App. Hence, you have to first download our Mobile App from APP STORE or GOOGLE PLAY STORE, which will only take seconds. Once you have installed our Mobile App, you can view all our available plans. You can also make claims through our Mobile App.
You get to see a summary of your coverage before you pay. You’ll also be able to edit your coverage. After payment, we will instantly issue your policy contract through our Mobile App.
Anyone buying a coverage plan from MicroUmbrella do not require medical check-up. However, for all medical insurance plans, pre-existing conditions is not covered. Examples of common pre-exiting condition are hypertension, cancer, thyroid, hepatitis B & C, depression, diabetes.
After selecting the coverage plan, you’ll be able to pay using your credit card, debit card, or available online payment. All payments are done through our Mobile App, you will not be diverted to another app or website.
You’ll be happy to know that we accept anyone, so yes, you can buy for your spouse or family member. You can buy for anyone through our Mobile App, as long as you indicate clearly the insured details.
Beneficiary name refers to the person that will inherit the claim money if you are deceased. If you do not key in the beneficiary name, the Laws will decide for you. If you had keyed in the name, the claim money will go directly to the named person’s bank account.
All insurance policies have fine prints. However, we have highlighted the important fine prints (with colored icons) so that you are clear what is not covered, or what is excluded. Nonetheless, we recommend you to read the policy contract, at least once, after you received it on our Mobile App.
If your credit card or debit card is declined, we’ll ask you to provide us with a different one. We shall persistently remind you, but missing your premium payment will result in policy cancellation.
No. The prices are fixed, however, our underwriter reserved the rights to revise the pricing up or down depending on internal data. However, our underwriter strives to make the prices affordable to everyone.
We say we have super-low prices, and we mean it. While our prices tend to be cheaper than the more established insurers, that won’t always be the case. Our underwriter utilizes different models and statistics to set pricing, and on certain occasion, our prices will be higher than someone else’s. It’s the way statistics work.
Yes, we welcome foreigners. Any foreigner can purchase as long you have valid work or study documentation.

CLAIMING RELATED QUESTIONS

Hassle-free! Just open our Mobile App and touch the “claim” icon. Our A.I., Eve will guide you through step by step. The entire process will take minutes for simple claim.
After you complete the claim process on our Mobile App, you will be asked to enter your bank account information. Once your claim is approved, we’ll issue payment directly into your account.
Our goal is for the majority of simple claims to be paid within 72 hours. There will be cases in which we’ll need to fully review the event to approve the claim, especially if the claim involved another party or parties.
When you file a claim through our Mobile App, we usually ask for receipts. So we urge you keep or scan your receipts. That way, we can settle your claim instantly. If you don’t have a record of the receipt, the claim process will be complicated. Please note that if you have a claim, we'll want to work closely with you so that you could get your claim instantly.

As of now, all coverage plans cover 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, and no territory restriction.
Yes, you can. Be sure to keep all original invoice and receipts, as we may require from the claimant.
